Template system: one of the most used functions of WordPress was the possibility of using templates (templates) with different designs to use on the blog. Although the system includes some basic templates, users began to design their own templates and share them on the Web.

CSS styles, which define the visual aspect of the site, must be well constructed. WordPress took this into account from the beginning by making sure that at least its initial templates were up to web standards. Plugin system: without a doubt, it is one of the strongest points of WordPress. Programmers from all over the world develop thousands of plugins (extra functions)
to improve the original performance of the system,
The user can install and enable the plugins they want in their blogs according to their needs.
Nested and multiple categories: in WordPress each entry can be classified in different categories defined by the author (for example: Cinema). In turn, each category can have subcategories (for example:
terror) Later, I incorporated the possibility of putting labels for each entry, in the same way
way Blogger does it.

Notification via pingbacks: the interaction between different blogs is one of the strengths of the blogosphere. WordPress helps with its pingbacks system,
that communicates with the blogs that have been linked in the entry, so that they in turn incorporate the new link in the original entry.
Multiple authors per blog: the system includes the possibility that several users have access to the blog, some with a higher level of access than others.
