The desire to want to be right.

Every human being lives his reality from his own point of view. The problem arises when from that particular point of view, we make a single possible interpretation of reality. Sometimes untested hypotheses become true statements (subjectivity). Desire to wanting to be right is a frequent cause of distancing. A relationship involves establishing bridges and meeting points.

The fear of not being accepted.

One of the most universal fears is the fear of loneliness. A fear that from the social point of view is reflected in the desire to want to please others and have friends. From the point of view of inner freedom, being yourself is a sign of emotional strength. That is, not to fall into the constant slavery of wanting to receive the approval of the other.

Fear of loneliness can also lead a person to maintain relationships that are not rewarding. When in reality, the greatest suffering is that which arises from being in company and feeling loneliness in the heart.

Not expressing feelings.

There are people who when they have a personal conflict, speak about the subject with total clarity with a friend external to the conflict but instead, they do not speak with the same clarity with the person involved. Expressing your personal point of view in front of the other is a necessary step to reach agreements, dialogue and open doors where pride becomes a barrier.

It is positive to look beyond that specific conflict to assess a relationship from the general point of view and thus make a more objective balance.
