Characteristics of a process
- Definable
The processes must be documented, and their requirements and measurements must be established.
- repeatable
Processes are sequences of recurring activities. They must be consistently communicated, understood and executed.
Advertisements
- predictable
Processes must achieve a level of stability to ensure that their activities are executed consistently and produce the desired results.
- measurable
Processes must have measurements that ensure the quality of each individual task as well as the quality of the end result. This measurement process can be easily explained in the previously published entry «Stages of management control».
